June 2, 2008

During the week of 5-18 through 5/24/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 908 calls for service. Officers arrested 31 adults and four juveniles; issued 229 traffic summonses including three for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to 12 Domestic Violence calls, 74 medical assists and six fire assists.

5/23 The side window of a backhoe parked on Jimmie Leeds Rd. near Maple Ave. was broken overnight.

5/23 A residence on Arbutus Ave. was entered during daylight hours. Jewelry and money were stolen.

5/23 Upendrabh S. Shah, 59, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Derek Tilton for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct following investigation into a two car accident in which a vehicle left the scene.

5/23 A vehicle parked on Cherokee Drive was entered overnight. Money, a camera and an I-Pod were reported stolen.

5/24 Two Brothers’ Pizza and Orchids Café, in the Pomona Plaza , were burglarized overnight. Money was stolen from each business.

5/25 Joann Nuttall, 57, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Andrew Silipino for DWI following a traffic stop in the parking lot of Wawa on Rt. 30 at Tilton Rd.

5/25 Martin Hulme, 45, of Gibbsboro was arrested by Ofc. William Kline for DWI following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

5/25 The sliding glass door panel of a residence on Cheshire Drive was shattered overnight.

5/27 Steven D. Carhart, 24, of Absecon, was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Attempting to Elude Police, following a pursuit and eventual arrest by Absecon Police Dept.

5/29 A residence on Colman Place was burglarized during daylight hours. A laptop computer was reported stolen.

Juveniles

5/21 SRO Richard Huenke arrested a 14-year-old-male for possession of CDS while at GTMS.

5/29 A 16-year-old male from Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Teresa Payne for Possession of CDS and Possession of Paraphernalia, following investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Ocean Ave.

May 16, 2008

During the week of 5-4 through 5/10/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 677 calls for service. Officers arrested 35 adults and five juveniles; issued 115 traffic summonses including one for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to six Domestic Violence calls, 84 medical assists and 11 fire assists.

5/6 Anthony A. Nelson, 50, of Atlantic City was arrested by Ofc. Marc D’Esposito for Receiving Stolen Property, following investigation into a vehicle stolen from Bensalem, PA.

5/6 Two air conditioning condensers were reported stolen from behind a building under construction on S. New York Rd.

5/7 An I-Pod was stolen from a student’s book bag in the boy’s locker room at GTMS during after school hours.

5/7 James M. Thorton III, 28, of Galloway and Veronica Beaufort, 23, of Absecon were arrested by Det. Donna Buccafurni for Possession CDS and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute following a traffic stop on Jimmie Leeds Rd. K9 Ofc. Hiram Melendez with partner Chase and K9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger with partner Blaze assisted in the investigation.

5/7 Tanvir Zaman, 27, of Absecon was arrested by Cpl. Peter Hone for Disorderly Conduct and Theft of Services following an incident at the Blue Marlin.

5/9 Teodoro R. Samin, 60, of Galloway was arrested by Det Michael Goldberg for Credit Card Fraud and Identity Theft following investigation into an incident reported on May 5, 2008.

5/9 Electronics and jewelry were stolen from a residence during a burglary on Cheshire Drive overnight.

5/9 Charles Allen, 43, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Patrick Neal for Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Hindering Apprehension following a pedestrian stop on Aloe St .

5/9 Christopher Cruz, 25, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Hindering Apprehension following an incident in the parking lot of JD’S Bar.

5/11 Copper piping was stolen from an unsecured garage on W. North Street over the weekend.

5/11 An unlocked vehicle in a Mattix Run parking lot was entered overnight and an MP3 player was stolen.

5/12 Power tools, valued at over $1,300 were stolen from a locked trailer on S. 6th Ave. over the weekend.

5/13 The windshield of a vehicle parked on Cos Cob Drive was shattered overnight. A large rock was found at the scene.

5/13 A lap-top computer was stolen from an unsecured residence on S. Concord Terrace during afternoon hours.

JUVENILES

5/15 A 17-year-old male was arrested by Det. Chris McGinty for Aggravated Assault following investigation into an incident on Pitney and Great Creek Rds on the 13th, in which a seatbelt buckle was thrown from a school bus, striking a female bicyclist, cutting her face, and requiring stitches.

May 9, 2008

During the week of 4-27 through 5/3/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 626 calls for service. Officers arrested 35 adults and nine juveniles; issued 100 traffic summonses including two for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to nine Domestic Violence calls, 79 medical assists and 10 fire assists.

5/1 Mark Citkowitz, 23, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Hindering Apprehension following an incident on Meadow Ridge Rd.

5/1 William E. Markle, 35 of Carteret and Ralph G. Shane, 37, of Galloway were arrested by Ofc. Gerald Houck for Possession of CDS following investigation into a suspicious vehicle on W Belladonna Ave. Markle was also charged with Obstruction.

5/1 Richard J. Santiago-Torres, 22, of Pleasantville was arrested by Det.Michael Goldberg for Theft and Credit Card Theft, following investigation into an incident that took place in Dec 2007.

5/2 Joseph A. Zfaty, 23, of Absecon and Steven Ganiel, 21, of Galloway were arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for two and three counts, respectively, of Possession of CDS, following investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Hay Rd.

5/3 Patricia Firtek, 63, of Egg Harbor was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for DWI following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

5/3 Mark T. Hamilton, 25, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Carolyn Buckley for DWI following a single car accident on S 4th Ave.

5/4 Michael H. Chew, 24, of Chatsworth was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Receiving Stolen Property following investigation into an incident on Frankfort Ave.

5/5 James E. Martin 3rd, 23, of Galloway was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Marc D’ Esposito with the aid of his partner Zito, for Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Hindering Apprehension following a traffic stop on Rt.30.

5/6 Mark E. Person, 30, of Pennsauken was arrested by Officer Goehringer for Hindering Apprehension on Rt. 30. In the same incident, Arika-Lea Hackley, 29, of Atlantic City was charged with Possession of CDS following investigation by K9 Officer Kevin Welsh with the aid of his partner Sabre.

Juveniles

4/29 Two juvenile males, one 12 and the other 13 years old, were arrested by SRO Rich Huenke for Disorderly Conduct following an altercation at GTMS.

5/1 A 13-year-old-male was arrested by SRO Rich Huenke for Disorderly Conduct following an incident at GTMS.

5/3 A 17-year-old male from Brigantine was arrested by Ofc. William Kline for Simple Assault and Underage Possession of Alcohol following an incident on Federal Ct.

5/3 A 17-year-old male was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Possession of CDS and Tampering with Evidence following a traffic stop on 6th Ave.

April 25, 2008

During the week of 4/13/2008 through 4/19/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 791 calls for service. Officers arrested 29 adults and 11 juveniles; issued 135 traffic summonses including two for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to 15 Domestic Violence calls, 79 medical assists and 14 fire assists.

4/10 Paula J. Alber, 31, of Galloway was arrested by Det. Michael Goldberg for bad checks, following investigation into incidents in Oct. and Nov 2007.

4/16 Joseph J. Ford, 31, of McKee City was arrested by Ofc. Paul Smith for Eluding, Criminal Mischief, Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute following a car stop.

4/17 Cody Ryan, 18, of Galloway was arrested by Det. John Kelly for Receiving stolen Property following investigation into an incident which occurred in Egg Harbor Twp. in February 2008.

4/18 Sean P. Logue, 34, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Andrew Silipino for DWI following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

4/19 Luis A. Figueroa-Rosario, 49, of Egg Harbor was arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for Possession of CDS following a pedestrian stop at Liverpool and Atlantic Aves.

4/20 Jonathan W. Naylor, 22, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Justin Butler for DWI following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

4/20 Ramses Ramirez-Zoliz, 23, of Hammonton was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Possession of CDS following investigation into a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Gensollen’s Bar.

4/20 Anthony L. Jones, 24, of Mays Landing was arrested by Ofc. Carolyn Buckley for Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Attempted Burglary and Eluding following a foot pursuit after a vehicle stop on Second Ave.

4/24 Dariusz Fraczek, 33, of Absecon was arrested by Ofc. Andrew Silipino for DWI following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

Juveniles

4/19 A 16-year-old male was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Possession of CDS following a traffic stop on Rt. 30.

4/19 A 14 year-old male was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon in School following an incident at a GTMS dance.

4/23 A 16-year-old male was arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for Robbery, Terroristic Threats, Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute following investigation into an incident near the Skate Park on April 22, 2008.

4-18-2008

During the week of 4-6 through 4/12/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 620 calls for service. Officers arrested 25 adults and three juveniles; issued 116 traffic summonses including one for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to four Domestic Violence calls, 87 medical assists and 16 fire assists.

4/7 Rufus Whitfield, 52, of Galloway was arrested by Det. Mike Goldberg for Forgery following an incident at the Emergency Room of ACRMC.

4/7 Holly L. Slotter, 43, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Steve Vernon for DWI and Possession of CDS following a traffic stop on W Jimmie Leeds Rd.

4/10 Ofc. Greg Bollinger arrested three men following investigation into a suspicious vehicle in the Shops of Galloway parking lot. Dorian Dixon, 19, of EHT, Ray A. Gerald, Jr. 19, of Egg Harbor and Christopher Tranchetti, 22, of Galloway were charged with Possession of CDS and Failure to Make Disposition of CDS. Gerald was also charged with Hindering Apprehension.

4/11 Frederick M. Brooke, 44, of Atlantic City was arrested by Ofc. John Mooney for DWI and Possession of CDS, following investigation into a vehicle on the side of the road on 4th Ave.

4/11 Paul E. Shook III, 24, of Barnegat was arrested by Ofc. Ryan Goehringer for Possession of CDS following vehicle stop on Rt. 30.

4/11 Robby A. Lauria, 41, of Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested by Ofc. John Mooney for Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Rt. 9

4/12 Danielle Aponte, 27, of Galloway was cited by Ofc. Ray Casanova for allowing two dogs to run at large.

4/14 Michael S. Porter, 18, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Robert Bauer for Disorderly Conduct following an incident behind the municipal complex.

4/15 Jamie M. Lampkin, 52, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Possession of CDS following investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Liberty Ct. and Federal Rd.

4/15 Peter Panzarella, 40, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and two counts of Terroristic Threats following an incident at Mattix Run.

Juveniles

4/14 A 14-year-old male was arrested by SRO Rich Huenke for Disorderly Conduct and Simple Assault following an incident at GTMS.

4/14 Det Michael Goldberg arrested five juvenile females for an incident that took place on April 2nd in Smithville. Two 14-year-olds were charged with Simple Assault and three 15-year-olds were charged with Disorderly Conduct.

April 11, 2008

During the week of 3/30/2008 through 4/5/2008, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a total of 609 calls for service. Officers arrested 17 adults and five juveniles; issued 123 traffic summonses including three for Driving Under the Influence. Officers responded to nine Domestic Violence calls, 78 medical assists and 11 fire assists.

4/1 Kent S. Whealton, Jr. 19, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, following a traffic stop on Wrangleboro Rd.

4/4 Mario J. Adams, 25, of Egg Harbor was arrested by Ofc. Vince Ceci for Hindering Apprehension, following a vehicle stop on Duerer St .

4/4 Austin P. Hamilton, 22, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Paul Smith and charged with Possession of CDS and Hindering Apprehension, following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 30 near the Parkway.

4/5 Ronald Kurtz II, 20, of Galloway was arrested by Lt. Pat Moran for Possession of CDS, following a vehicle stop on W. Moss Mill Rd.

4/7 A vehicle parked on Vail Ct. was burglarized during evening hours. Personal documents, music CD’S and sunglasses were reported stolen.

4/9 Yusef Gordy, 19, of Atlantic City was arrested by Ofc. William Weisgerber for Hindering Apprehension, following an accident on Rt. 30

4/9 John E. Vietoris, 31, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Vince Ceci and charged with Tampering with Evidence and Possession of CDS, following a traffic stop on Ridgewood Ave.

4/3 A 14-year-old male was arrested by SRO Rich Huenke and charged with disorderly conduct for an incident at Galloway Middle School.

4/5 A 16-year-old female was arrested by Ofc. Scott Winneberger for Possession of CDS, following investigation into a suspicious vehicle at Wrangleboro Park after hours.

4/11 Three 15-year-old males were arrested by SRO Kevin Jorgensen for Simple Assault, following an incident at Absegami High School .

March 28, 2008

3/20 Gregory M. May, 26, of Egg Harbor Twp. and Danielle Kearney, 27, of Galloway were arrested by Ofc. Vincent Ceci for Hindering Apprehension, following a traffic stop on Wrangleboro Rd.

3/21 Gustavo A. Licona, 21, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Thomas Guercioni for Disorderly Conduct, following investigation into a disturbance at Gensollen’s Bar.

3/21 Robert L. Black, 22, Johnny C. Crumble, 25 and James L. Felton, 31 all of Atlantic City were arrested by Ofc. Andrew Silipino for Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing the Administration of Law following investigation into gunshots heard on Federal Ct. Robert L. Black Jr. was also charged with Criminal Mischief for damaging the rear window of a patrol car.

3/21 Charles Shurig, Jr, 27 and Brian Thomas Parker, 24, both of Galloway were arrested by Ofc. William Kline and charged with Possession of CDS following investigation into a suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed business on Rt. 30.

3/22 The windows of three vehicles were shattered overnight and electronic and personal items stolen from them. One vehicle was parked on Chip Shot Lane , another on E Village Drive and one on Fairway Lane .

3/23 Isaac P. Alpha, 25, of Trenton was arrested by Ofc. Andrew Silipino for Hindering Apprehension following a traffic stop on Rt. 30. His passenger, Ronita McCallister, 24, of Atlantic City was cited for Providing False Information to Hinder Apprehension.

3/23 Marco Yunen, 36, Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS Under 50 grams, and Hindering Apprehension following investigation into a suspicious vehicle behind Gensollen’s Bar.

3/24 In an incident in the parking lot of Gensollen’s Bar, Jamil K. Gerald, 18 of Pleasantville was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Disorderly Conduct and by Sgt Richard Komar for Aggravated Assault to a Law Enforcement Officer. Keith Gerald, 19, also of Pleasantville was charged By Ofc. Casey for Obstruct of Justice and Kerry Dunbar 2nd, 19, of Absecon was arrested by Ofc. Paul Smith for Disorderly Conduct.

2/10 Darlene Clark, 35, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey for Hindering Apprehension following a pedestrian stop on Jimmie Leeds Rd.

2/13 Nicholas A. Abbati, 19, of Atlantic City was arrested by Det. Ro Latoracca for two counts of Theft, following investigation into an incident, in which jewelry was stolen on January 6, 2008 from a home on 8th Ave.

2/16 Lisa A. Jackson, 31, of Mays Landing was arrested by Ofc. Patrick Neal for Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia following a pedestrian stop.

2/22 Adam Obertlik, 20, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Justin Butler for Theft and Criminal Mischief, following investigation into an incident at Mainland Baptist Church .

2/23 Javier Echevarria, 26, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Robert Bauer and charged with Burglary, Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, following investigation into a disturbance on Cos Cob Drive . In the same incident, Angel Echevarria, 29, of Pleasantville was arrested for Burglary.

2/23 Thomas P. Warn, 18, of Barnegat was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following an incident on Sussex Place .

2/24 Alvester R. Jones 25, was arrested by Ofc. John Mooney for Possession of CDS and Disorderly Conduct, following investigation into a suspicious vehicle in a motel parking lot on Rt. 30. In the same incident, Annette L.Price, 24, was arrested for Possession of CDS. Both are from Wyandanch , NY

2/24 Kristyn L. Cooke, 25, of Egg Harbor City was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for DWI following a traffic stop for erratic driving on Rt. 30.

2/24 Raman K. Snood, 53, of Kingsville , MD. was arrested by Ofc William Schroer for DWI following a two vehicle accident on Rt. 30.

2/25 Joseph P. Linder, 27, of Somers Point was arrested by Ofc. Ryan Goerhinger for hindering apprehension following a traffic stop on Rt. 50.

2/26 Justin Angier, 19, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Welsh for Possession of CDS, following a pedestrian stop on Duerer St and Bremen Ave.

2/27 Michelle Mulderrig, 46, of Pearl River , NY was arrested by Sgt. Jody Jucciarone for DWI following a single vehicle accident on Jimmie Leeds Rd.

2/27 Suzanne Wray-Cathey, 49, of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Bryan Casey and charged with DWI following a traffic stop on Pomona Rd.

2/27 Jacob M. Travis, 19, of Egg Harbor City was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Hindering Apprehension following a traffic stop on Rt. 30. 

2/28 Givanna L. Baker, 29, of Atlantic City was arrested by Cpl. Joseph Piccardi for Hindering Apprehension of Another following a traffic stop on Patriots Ct. . In the same incident, Quincy A. Waters, 25, also of Atlantic City was arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for Hindering Apprehension.

Juveniles

2/21 Three 17-year-old males and one 16-year-old male were arrested by Ofc. Kevin Welsh for Underage Consumption and Possession of Alcohol and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, following investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Heritage Ct.. Three of the boys were from Absecon the fourth is from Galloway .

2/26 A 14-year-old female was arrested by SRO Richard Huenke for Distributing CDS to two other Galloway Middle School students.

1/12 Erik Todd, 39 of Galloway was arrested by Ofc. Jason Kiamos for Possession of CDS following a motor vehicle stop.

1/8 A Burglary to a Motor Vehicle was reported on Magnolia Ave.   A GPS unit was removed.

1/13 Nicholas Abbatti, 18 of Atlantic City was arrested by Ofc. Kerry Baerman for Burglary and Theft following an investigation.

1/14 A burglary was reported to a residence on Fir Ave. Various items were removed.

1/15 A burglary was reported to a residence on Sussex Place Suspects removed various electronic items.

1/15 Graffiti was reported to a trailer at First Student school bus at the Smithville Elementary School .

1/15 Marilyn Rodinaro, 63 of Little Egg Harbor was arrested by Ofc. Stephen Vernon for DWI following a motor vehicle stop.

12/14 A 14 year old male was arrested by SRO Richard Huenke for Possession of a Weapon at the middle school.

12/14 A 14 year old female was arrested by SRO Richard Huenke  for disorderly conduct at the middle school.

12/20 A 12 year old male was arrested by SRO Richard Huenke for simple assault at the middle school.

12/20 A 13 year old male was arrested by SRO Richard Huenke for simple assault at the middle school.

12/4 A burglary to an unlocked motor vehicle was reported on Navajo Ct. A GPS system was reported missing from the vehicle.  

11/30 A burglary to an unlocked motor vehicle was reported on Liverpool Ave. Removed from the vehicle was a cell phone and set of keys.

12/4 Lemuel C Coleman, 24 of Pittsburg PA was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Possession of CDS and DWI following a motor vehicle stop.

12/5 Criminal mischief was reported on Jimmie Leeds Rd. A conc
