February 16, 2012

During the week Jan. 30-Feb. 5 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,048 calls. Officers made 33 arrests and issued 140 traffic summonses including three charges of driving while intoxicated. They responded to 25 motor vehicle accidents, 12 domestic complaints, 77 medical assists and 16 fire calls.

David Sanford Jr., 26, of Tuckerton was arrested Jan. 29 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on summonses.

Kelly L. Ryan, 25, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 31 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.

William F. Testa, 21, of Mays Landing was arrested Feb. 2 by Ptl. William Kline and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on warrants.

Dante M. Calabrese, 22, of Absecon was arrested Feb. 2 by Detective Ryan Goehringer and charged with criminal mischief following an investigation into an incident on Oct. 7, 2011. He was released on a summons.

Cameron D. Adams, 22, of Hamilton Township was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Michael W. Pelegrino, 23, was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Jorge I. Gilbert, 22, of Northfield was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Anthony O. Maldonado, 34, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Mahmoud A. Seleman, 18, of Avenel in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with hindering apprehension and attempting to purchase alcohol underage. He was released on summonses.

Christopher Mower, 21, of Blackwood was arrested Feb. 3 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Dawn M. Thiel, 47, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 4 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-car accident. She was released on a summons.

David Chesterton, 18, of Hamilton Township was arrested Feb. 4 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Dustin Scott, 22, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Feb. 5 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Johnathan Bariss, 24, of Northfield was arrested Feb. 5 by Sgt. Joseph Picardi and charged with unlawful littering. He was released on a summons.

William F. Olson, 53, of Absecon was arrested Feb. 5 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Ivelisse A. Lopez, 39, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 5 by Ptl. Patrick Neal and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Jan. 30 on Wicklow Terrace, Jan. 31 on Jimmie Leeds Road , Feb. 1 on W. Rene Avenue and Feb. 4 on Tilton Road .

 

February 09, 2012

During the week of Jan. 16-22 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,033 calls. Officers made 47 arrests and issued 118 traffic summonses including three charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 22 motor vehicle accidents, 10 domestic complaints, 91 medical assists and 15 fire calls.

Richard Martinez, 39, of Hammonton was arrested Jan. 17 by Ptl. Jacquelyn Crocker and charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, obstruction, theft and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $100,000 full cash bail.

Charles T. Flippen, 54, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Stephen Vernon and charged with burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $12,500 full cash bail.

Dalene A. White, 49, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while on suspension, attempting to elude in a vehicle and obstructing the investigation of a crime. She was released on a summons.

Timothy P. Michael, 23, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Daniel Berrios, 18, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 19 by Ptl. Matthew Worth and charged with obstruction. He was released on summons.

Kevin M. Naylor, 21, of Pine Hill was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Brandon F. Bush, 21, of Allentown , Monmouth County was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Ken Snuffer and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Michele A. Giglio, 43, of Hammonton and Raul P. Melendez, 33, of Hamilton Township were arrested Jan. 29 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu. Giglio was charged with hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct. Melendez was charged with criminal trespass, hindering apprehension and criminal mischief. Both were released on summonses.

Ali Gocmez, 20, of Delran, was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Michael G. Coffee, 21, of Gibbsboro was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Richard Bauer and charged with improper behavior. He was released on a summons.

Robert B. Phillips, 27, of Hamilton Township was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with shoplifting. He was released on a summons.

Nelson Ruiz Jr., 29, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with failure to register for Megan’s Law. He was released on a summons.

Adrian G. Marrero, 18, and Rodson Jean, 19, both of Galloway were arrested Jan. 20 by Ptl. Dan Weigle and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  They were released on summonses.

Brandon E. Risley, 21, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 20 by Detective Ryan Goehringer and charged with theft. He was released on a summons.

Yomary Rodriguez, 32, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 21 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of hypodermic needles and hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

Bernard Y. Taylor, 34, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 21 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and use of a juvenile to commit a crime. He was lodged in Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $25,000 bail.

Juvenile Report

A 15-year-old Galloway boy was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a juvenile summons.

A 13-year-old Galloway boy was arrested Jan. 21 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with criminal trespass. He was released to his parents on a juvenile summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Jan. 18 on S. Berlin Avenue and W. Cleveland Avenue .

Sheriff’s Report

Jermaine V. Gaskins, 39, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 25 by Detectives Eric Wise, Jeffery Newman and Michael Hankins for nonsupport.

Steven E. Spencer, 47, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 27 by Officer Roberto Rosado for nonsupport.

Scott M. Trefero, 31, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 31 in Atlantic City by Officer William Ade for nonsupport.

 

February 02, 2012

During the week Jan. 23-29 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,016 calls. Officers made 20 arrests and issued 99 traffic summonses including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents, six domestic complaints, 98 medical assists and 14 fire calls.

Cyrena M. Reres, 18, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 26 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with driving while intoxicated, obstruction and hindering apprehension. She was released on summonses.

Brian R. Terry, 33, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 26 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with obstruction. He was released on a summons.

Juan A. Herrera Jr., 22, of Absecon was arrested Jan. 27 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Caleb A. Bostic, 20, of Egg Harbor City , and Lindsey G. Zuber, 20, of Weymouth were arrested Jan. 27 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with hindering apprehension. Bostic was released and Zuber was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility for failure to post $750 bail on an outstanding warrant.

Christopher D. Smith, 24, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 28 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with driving while intoxicated following a hit and run accident. He was released on a summons.

Salomon Jean Jr., 29, of Hamilton Township was arrested Jan. 29 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Luke A. Witherspoon III, 23, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Jan. 30 by Ptl. Kevin Jorgensen and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Joshua Suriano, 19, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 30 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons. 

Burglary Report

Buildings were reported burglarized Jan. 26 on S. Odessa Avenue and S. Nectar Avenue ;

Jan. 27, E. Oakbourne Avenue , Meadow Ridge Road and W. Hayes Avenue .

A vehicle burglary was reported Jan. 27, E. Waveland Avenue .

 

January 26, 2012

From Jan. 9-15 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,195 calls. Officers made 40 arrests, two for DWI, and issued 124 traffic summonses. Officers responded to 20 motor vehicle accidents, 7 domestic complaints, 95 medical assists and 11 fire calls.

Shawntoni L. Boyette, 29, of Hamilton was arrested Jan. 10 by Ptl. Kevin Costa for obstruction of the administration of law. He was released on a summons.

John M. Coles, Jr., 20, of Galloway was arrested by Jan. 11 Ptl. Scott Winneberger for possession of CDS and possession with intent to distribute. He was released on summonses.

Melissa F. Young, 48, of Brigantine was arrested Jan. 11 by Ptl. Paul Smith for assault. She was released on a summons.

Kevin Michael Millette, 45, of N. Smithfield , RI was arrested Jan. 11 by Spc. Ofc. P. Ryba on a fugitive warrant. He was lodged in ACJF.

Shayta B. Garner, 25, of Hammonton was arrested Jan. 12 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci for obstruction, resisting arrest and improper behavior. She was released on a summons.

Mark A. Cooper, 50, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 12 by Ptl. Patrick Neal for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

Joseph Kozenskie, 32, and Darryl K. Kozenskie, Jr, 20, of Galloway were arrested Jan. 12 by Ptl. Rita Abatemarco for burglary and theft. They were lodged in ACJF in lieu of $25,000 full bail each.

William J. Mooney, Jr., 28, of Galloway , was arrested Jan. 12 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.  

Sean R. Stewart, 26, of Galloway , was arrested Jan. 13 by Spc. Ofc. P. Ryba for possession of hypodermic needles and CDS paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Matthew Ceballos, 19, of Creskill , NJ was arrested Jan. 13 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

Leonard J. Desaro, 56, of Forked River , was arrested Jan. 13 by Spc. Ofc. P. Ryba for obstructing the administration of law. He was released on a summons.

David C. Devlin, 26, of Absecon, was arrested Jan. 14 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for DWI. He was released on a summons.

John C. Parker, 23, of Cologne , was arrested Jan. 15 by Ptl. Robert Bauer for DWI.   He was released on a summons.

Javier A. Alarcon, 30, of Atlantic City , was arrested Jan. 15 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Building burglaries were reported Jan. 11 on S. Wood Ln. and Jan. 12 on S. Philadelphia Ave.

A vehicle burglary was reported Jan. 12 on W. White Horse Pike.

 

January 19, 2012

From Jan. 2-8 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,056 calls. Officers made 47 arrests, and issued 150 traffic summonses. Officers responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents, 15 domestic complaints, 78 medical assists and 16 fire calls.

Samantha Ratty, 23, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 2 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with hindering apprehension. She was released on a summons.

Matthew E. Tomlinson, 23, of Somers Point, Troy S. Helduser, 35, of Folsom and Ayisha Levenski, 21, of Somers Point were arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Bryan Casey. Tomlinson was charged with aggravated assault to a law enforcement officer, hindering apprehension and resisting arrest by fleeing on foot. Helduser and Levenski were charged with hindering the apprehension of another. Tomlinson was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail. Helduser and Levenski were released on summonses.

Verna C. Watkins, 45, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Patrick Neal and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. She was lodged in lieu of $25,000 full cash bail.

Elijah Metts, 22, of Galloway , was arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and improper behavior. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Quinn McCord, 23, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 4 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on summonses.

Kristen Fedorko, 32 of Little Egg Harbor Township and Kenneth Montanye, 24, of Toms River were arrested Jan. 5 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of  controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. They were released on summonses.

Crayton W. Williams, 37, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 6 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Tayshawn S. Gordon, 27, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 6 by Detective Ryan Goehringer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

George D. Dean Jr., 23, of Port Republic was arrested Jan. 6 by Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Noah L. Pace, 37, of Trenton was arrested Jan. 7 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Anthony J. Robinson, 32, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 7 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, paraphernalia and hypodermic needles, and simple assault. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $75K full bail.

Burglary Report

Building burglaries were reported Jan. 3 on Aloe Street , Jan. 5 on W. White Horse Pike and Jan. 6 on N. Garden Street .

Vehicle burglaries were reported Jan. 3 on E. Great Creek Road and E. 7th Avenue .

 

January 12, 2012

The Galloway Township Police Department answered 918 calls Dec. 26-Jan. 1. Officers made 16 arrests and issued 85 traffic summonses including one charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 11 motor vehicle accidents, 20 domestic complaints, 82 medical assists and 12 fire calls.

Tanisha N. Watkins, 22, and Stephanie Garcia, 20, of Galloway were arrested Dec. 27 by Ptl. Ken Snuffer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute. They were lodged in the Atlantic County jail; Watkins on $75,000 full cash bail and Garcia on $100,000 full cash bail.

Ryan E. Sullivan, 21, of Mays Landing was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer Ryan Dubiel and charged with possession of a handgun. He was released on his own recognizance on a warrant.

Edward Hyunh, 23, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 30 by Ptl. Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons. 

Gordon T. Starks, 22, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with obstruction of the administration of law, assault and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in the Atlantic County jail in lieu of $5,000 full cash bail.

Richard E. Peak III, 27, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident. He was released on a summons.

Korrey Williams, 27, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.

Raphael Hughes, 26, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 1 by Officer P. Ryba and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Brian E. Weimer, 47, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 1 by Ptl. Matt Worth and charged with aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law. He was released in his own recognizance on a warrant.

Burglary Report

Four burglaries were reported to buildings: Dec. 26 on Cheltenham Avenue, Dec. 29-30 on Xanthus Avenue and Dec. 30 on South Poplar Avenue and on East Cos Cob Drive.

One vehicle burglary was reported Dec. 30 on Iroquois Drive.

 

January 05, 2012

The Galloway Township Police Department answered 862 calls Dec. 19-25. Officers made 26 arrests, issued 75 traffic summonses, and responded to 21 motor vehicle accidents, 13 domestic complaints, 78 medical assists and 17 fire calls.

12/19 Miguel Cintron, 57, of Williamstown was arrested by Ptl. Patrick Neal for DWI. He was released on a summons.

12/20 Steven Guilford, 28, of Atlantic City was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Guercioni for hindering apprehension and defiant trespass. He was lodged in ACJF on outstanding warrants.

12/21 Tyrone B. Dollison, 24, of Blackwood, was arrested for possession of CDS by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau. He was released on a summons.

12/22 Viktoyia V. Kuzmitskaya, 30, of EHT was arrested by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for DWI following a single vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

12/23 Stephen G. Shincarick, 22, of Hammonton was arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau for DWI. He was released on a summons.

12/24 Julius J. Clemens, 37, of Galloway was arrested by Ptl. Bryan Casey for DWI. He was released on a summons.

12/25 Harold T, Turner, 44 and Joseph Durdack, 43, both of Galloway , were arrested by Ptl. Steven Garrison. Turner was charged with obstruction and resisting and was released on a summons. Durdack was charged with creating a false public alarm and making a false report to law enforcement. He was lodged in ACJF in lieu of $5000 bail.

12/27 Joshua R. Schifris, 18, of Galloway was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu for disorderly conduct. He was released on a summons.

12/30 Edward V. Huynh, 23, of Galloway was arrested by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

A burglary was reported Dec. 12 to a residence on S. Canary Way and N. Garden Ct.
