Galloway Township Police Department has
immediate openings for Public Safety
Dispatchers at our Communications Center.
Dispatchers work in a fast paced environment
handling emergency and non-emergency calls
for Police, Fire and EMS services. Our
Communications Center is responsible for the
communities of Galloway Township, Mullica
Township, and Port Republic, servicing a
total of 2 police departments, 10 fire
companies, and 1 EMS squad.
must have certification as a 9-1-1
Telecommunicator and Emergency Medical
Dispatcher (EMD) along with current CPR
certification. Extensive on the job training
is provided to new hires. Starting salary is
$32,500 with no prior experience and $35,000
with prior experience. Medical and dental
benefits, New Jersey State Pension System
benefits, and vacation time are provided.
